bachsoprano suggested doing a side-by-side comparison to see what the difference the size makes. below i've posted the original 2.5 x 3.5, a 4.5 X 5.5 in watercolor, and a 4.5 x 5.5 (the same one, in fact) in digital tinting. all are scanned and reproduced approximately their actual size.

i'm not going to editorialize much on this ~ yet.

i do too. the other two just so look sanitized to me now that i can see them all together.

i x-posted this to illustrators and the people who have responded have picked no. 3 ~ of the three, it's the one i like the least ~ hahahahahaha ~
