i just finished watching Grave of the Fireflies ~

if you have never seen this film, you need to ~ even if you don't like animé.

but don't watch it unless you're fully prepared to stomach it.

I saw it with my family at the Arts Center, and all of us wept the entire way through. It's a favorite of mine, but I could never watch it again... yes, definitely one to watch, but I think everyone needs a good hug afterward!! And here's one for you: *Hugs* Take care!

I've heard stories... know some of the spoilers already... but I have yet to watch it because I know it'll wrench my heart out of my chest and make me all depressed. I've decided that the best time to watch it is some morning before I go out and do something fun on a beautiful, bright, sunny day.
