ah greetings from the snowy land of a thousand lakes!

did you all miss me? did anyone even notice i was gone? hahaha ~

well after 1,200 miles and quite a few adventures, i am happily esconced far from the toiling heat of the desert (and hopefully for good!) ~ the dogs are a wee less enthusiastic, but they are adjusting to second-floor living and actually like the ten-inch drifts of snow; they're taking the weather in stride!

i've got a lot to share, but after two weeks without internet connectivity, i'm out of the practice of blathering on. funny how part of me was dying the whole time to get on again and now that i am on i am remembering what a responsibility it is: emails to answer, posts to reply to ~ hahahaha ~ it was actually nice being a hermit for a short spell and i am reminded that the world will not come to an end just because i can't check in for one day (or two or three).

i likely will not be replying to my friends' posts until i can get back into the swing of things. i hope i didn't miss too much critical stuff ~ i've scrolled back a little, but there's pages and pages i prolly will not get to.

anyway, nice to be back!



~ one bonus of the cold weather is that the dogs
are learning to hang out more closely ~
