a "God is good" moment from today ~

i belong to a perpetual adoration society and tuesday midnight to one a.m. is my appointed hour before the Blessed Sacrament. i'd been planning for some time that i ought to hie me to confession and thought: hey, i'll spend my hour at adoration preparing for a good confession (my last at St. Mary's most likely), and then go on wednesday at 11:45 before the noon mass.

well then i got busy and scheduled moving people to come over and give me an estimate on the move and they wanted to come at 10:30 wednesday morning and i said: okay sure! it wasn't until later that i realized i'd screwed up, though i was thinking maybe they would be in and out and i could still squeeze confession in.

then i got a phone call tonight: the scheduled movers called to say they had a conflict with december 3rd ~ which is the only day i can have movers come in. so i cancelled the appointment.

and voilá, i am free to go to confession tomorrow without having to race like a madwoman! whoohoo!

thank you God!

i have two other movers lined up for estimates, so it's all good.

in other news, i can't seem to finish that InDesign review (ughhh) ~ it's killing me. and i got work from ADV today (a huge motherload). scripts are due december 5th. this is going to be an interesting couple of weeks here. if you don't hear from me after five days, send a posse!

NaNo? um....yeah. actually i've written 1,400 words + today, but i'm still way behind.

adding to the list of resolutions from the day before: i really gotta stop being so self-obssessed. i've really been on a me me me bender lately. apologies to all my flist peeps ~ prolly been boring most of you silly.
