PetCast, pre-new year resolutions, and the daily drabble ~

PetCast <~ check this out ~ it's awesome! it tells you what the forecast is, how much your dogs will hate you for taking them outside into the cold and what the best hours for walking them are. that is so cool!

i'm so easily impressed, i know.

the move: made headway with everything except writing the review for InDesign (yikes, it's due wednesday!) ~ and i haven't done my 2,000+ words for NaNo yet today, so i need to get to that. but i've been running at it all day and feel like progress is happening, which is good, good, and more good. my block heater will be here on wednesday ~ yay!

i've picked the 28th, 29th or 30th to leave ~ wish i could go earlier, but the Thanksgiving holiday is cramping my escape. hopefully the weather will hold in the 40s for a while longer and not dip much lower. brrrr! i'm so excited to even think about being able to huddle and shiver. it's still in the 80s here, though they've promised us a cold front ~ we'll just see if it lasts.

some resolutions i've been considering:

1. getting back to a regular devotional habit so far as my posting is concerned. my spiritual life has been sort of a train wreck lately and i really need to reconnect there. i'm feeling the lack horrendously.

2. related to the one above: making a commitment to attend mass more often. clearly i need it.

3. getting some new avatars for livejournal, maybe even one of myself ~ i need to stop hating my own face so much ~ and maybe even paying for my journal now that i actually use it enough to warrant it.

i'm considering some other changes, but haven't decided how to articulate them just yet.

Aww... that is way awesome - a forecast for pets! Adorable!

It's in the 80s where you are? Here in Iowa its around 32 degrees and there's a high chance of snow tonight and tomorrow. I'm excited for the snow... but yet it'll probably get really yucky fast for the weather been so crazy of late. But that's Iowa for you! ^_^
