this is the vehicle i went to visit this morning. it was like driving a big blue playskool car. that has its own sort of charm, i guess.

i didn't buy it. maybe next month when they are a wee bit more desperate to sell it. i got them to knock off a couple thou without the trade-in, but i think they can do better before the new year.

st. joseph and i have gotten to be chummy lately ~ why is it we only go to our fathers and father-figures when we need something? anyway, i'm not superstitious and don't know how i feel about the whole bury st. joseph in the yard thing, but i do have a candle burning for the next week.

and speaking of houses, i'm supposed to be showing it to people this week and it's still a heaving wreck of dust and clutter! fargle!

the office is stripped pretty clean, but now the tv room is all junked up and the living room is floor to ceiling with stuff for the garbage garage sale. moving sale. there's no garage.

~ * ~

i've almost got my NaNo cards done and then i will throw them in a hat and pick out two scenes a day randomly (or more like ten scenes on the weekends after i've pit writing off all week!) ~ i still have that contract to finish and miles to go!

My priest back home in Des Moines drives a car just like that. I find it hilarious when I see him roar into the church parking lot. :D It really does look like a playschool car!

I've been praying for you~! I'm sure it'll all work out somehow. You know how God works in mysterious ways. :D

And I am so excited for NaNo!! WEEE!

We test drove those a few months back...They are nigh impossible to find in a stick and we had a heck of a time trying to find one.

Good luck with the packing. We need to start doing that ourselves in preparation for when we move in the beginning of next year. (Not looking forward to that at all...) I'm just glad we never had to show our place in hopes of someone else wanting it. I can't imagine the stress that creates.

I like your card idea...I'm still toying with the idea of NaNo'ing this time around...I think i might work on a story I'm doing that someone else will illustrate. Just to get it out and ready for massive editing...
