a quickie colorized version (pardon the slop) ~ just wanted to see what it looked like and post it here to compare to the other two. colorizing is a pretty quick process and i do like how the colors look (monochromatic brain notwithstanding). i like having the option anyway.

in sad news, my copy of In the Realms of the Unreal arrived today and is damaged, damaged, damaged. i have never (in many many many years) had to return anything to Amazon. well, i guess there's a first for everything. so sad. it's just as well. perhaps my frame of mind isn't exactly optimal for looking at darger's stuff anyway.

i had a peanut butter and jelly sammich today. that's a first in a long long while. had an odd craving this morning and decided to just go for it.

i've got a post in mind about score composers (zimmer and horner primarily). recently i made a disparaging comment about horner with regards to his scores as of late, but thinking back, i ought to cut the guy some slack. more on that later though.

not sure i can go through with the whole coloring thing. but i might try it and see where it gets me. me and color have such a push-pull relationship. i like color, but am sooooo bad with it. gimme monochrome and i am happy as a jelly bean holding a rabbit-eared balloon.
