~ had a hard time waking up

~ ate watermelon and breadsticks

~ did a teensy bit of writing

~ went to the library and checked out two books (nothing terribly exciting)

~ went to a play reading by a writer from the writer's group

~ discussed vegetable thievery with one of the other writers, who basically said that there was nothing wrong with going into other people's yards and stealing their produce. very depressing.

~ watched Somewhere in Time (had never seen it and now don't ever need to see it again)

~ had to pick up a dead baby possum from my bedroom floor. (why, oh Lord, do i have dogs ~ someone remind me)

: o p

now i'm going to bed to have nightmares about dead critters. if i had found it in the bed, you can bet i would be sleeping in the guest room tonight.

sigh.

wow, it was really cheesy! hahahahaha ~ jane seymour and christopher reeve were of course, gorgeous ~ and christopher plummer was not a bad apple himself (confesses to an attraction for older men ~ especially in cravats) ~

...you like Christopher Plummer too!? *faints!* I too have an attraction to older men...*thinks about Anthony Hopkins, faints* XP ...maybe that's TOO old. :P But he was so cool in "Shadowlands". XD

We had a dead mockingbird, yesterday. Not inside, fortunately, as my cats aren't allowed out. This is better than when I dogsit, and the younger of the two pups is known to bring back all sorts of insane things. Usually very large. And not always dead.

hahahaha ~ !

yes, merle is notorious for tearing the legs off of lizards and then bringing them in still alive. i rescued one with one missing leg and a missing tail. i think it survived.

good heavens. she went through a really bad phase and then stopped doing it ~ and now she's started again. i actually think it was paxton who brought the dead thing in, though. all the fuzz was pulled off of it. it was quite nasty.
