illustration no. 2018 (i think)
this is a pretty radical style shift from the disneyish thing i was doing before, but i like the washed-out look of it and the subtle almost not-there colors. it's easy to sketch this loosely (so saves time), and i like that it's got some texture, but is also soft in the shading.
i'm not sure what to do with borders/no borders and backgrounds ~ but i'm so bad at backgrounds maybe this is a good way to escape having to do them (fiendish snicker) ~ i'm going to try to go with this style for season two and see how i like it. that means redrawing the six pictures i've already drawn ~ bleh ~ and i'll still have 18 more to do ~
that is, unless i get lazy and only do one picture per episode (more fiendish plotting). the really sad thing is, i could do more if i gave up the whole business card-size thing, but i am so bad about change.
feh. we'll see.

and thank you for the vote of confidence re: the two pictures. i seem to be able to draw in spurts and then just get tired, so it's hard maintaining any sort of stamina, unfortunately. that's why i spend so much time looking to ways to cut corners ~ hahahahaha ~

*pokes* By the way, you wouldn't happen to have a nice profile tutorial lying around, wouldja? I've always had trouble doing that forehead/nose part thing...and...everything else. :P *dies*
