i can't find my can opener.

this isn't funny. the only thing i have to eat in the house is tuna. in cans.

i'm hungry.

Oh that sucks. lol... I suppose that's what life as a feline must be like. :-)

ha ~ ! i don't wonder if the dog doesn't just sit staring at the giant dogfood bucket all day long thinking: i see the food, but i can't get the food. hmmmm....

Oh. Wow. That's...horrible. And I know. this is the voice of experience talking.

My deepest sympathies. Have you considered a trip to the grocery store?

hahahahaha ~ i just went to the grocery yesterday (how sad is that?). i am the worst shopper ever. i never seem to think about making food during the week.

it's my small contribution to the philosophy of living in the moment, perhaps.

Once I bought a six pack of beer, to find out that they weren't twist-offs and I had no bottle opener. I became very creative that night and henceforth travel with a bottle opener.

I will tell you that telekinesis and yelling profanities aren't effective substitutes for the proper tool.

If you don't have the money for a can opener, can you bother a neighbour to borrow theirs? You wouldn't have to leave their front stoop to get it done.

Good luck!

ooo ~ i've done that too. i managed not to yell any profanities and have also discovered that no, moving that jar of peanut butter (for the dog) aside in the cabinet seven times isn't going to make the can opener magically appear behind it ~ hahahahaha ~

Eeee, good luck. I've definitely been there, though not since college.

clearly i don't eat canned food very often (or else most stuff they make with those pop tops now).

silly.

haha, for some reason that Warner Brothers cartoon image of a squirrel trying to open a coconut popped into my mind. I can see you traipsing across the town trying to drop random things on a can of tuna. :)

Too much tv for me as a kid...yessir...
