i'm not actually serious about this.

yet.

edit: misspelled "tableaux" in the original ~ and had to fix Czar Nasty Owlface's hair.

Ahahaha!

I really like your line drawings, by the way....they remind me an awful lot of those British pony books from way back when (holler if you don't know what I mean...).

Living tableaux!

oh man ~ i totally missed the X ~ hahahahahahaha. that's twice i misspelled it.

that's okay ~ i screwed up on czar nasty owlface's hairline too ~ so i'll redo this eventually.

: D

p.s. i know exactly what books you're talking about ~ i guess the similarity is somewhat intentional (a la Punch as well).

Oh, I didn't mean to correct you - ack! Sorry, I must have sounded like a git.

I just liked the image of the living tableaux...like those wonderful old photographs where everything is staged just so, so an on-looker would "think" they had just dropped in on a Bachanal or some such thing...is that sort of what you've got in mind? (The photograph part, not the Bachanal...ahaha!)

hahahahahaha ~ why not a bachanal?

i don't know if that's what i mean. i'm mostly just throwing things and see what sticks. i had in my head this image of a sort of Ford's Theatre diorama in which all these characters parade on and off and enact all this "drammer" for the benefit of someone in the box seats (dunno who the someone is ~ maybe henry and clara or statler and waldorf or...well, you get the picture). i just had this image of booth and lincoln in the green room and one turns to the other and says: "are we even in this play?"

okay, it's funny in my head. hahahahahaha ~

i don't know if any of this works but, like i said, i'm just kicking ideas around.

Ahahhaa you're amazing. *I* think you should do it.

...is it sketchy if I stick that on my wall? It's really cute.

From: [identity profile] lookingland.livejournal.com

thank you!

i have no idea where to begin if i do intend to do it ~ i'll have to give it more thought.

it is rather amusing though ~ i would not object to it being on a wall. maybe if i think of it there, it will put a fire under me to actually make something of it.

Hahaha, I really hope you do this :) I am in awe of your desk, by the way. It kind of makes me want to fix up mine--but my school desk has too much school stuff, and I won't see my desk at home much till the summer. I have replaced all my school books (now under my bed) with more interesting stuff, though.

I'm adding you back, by the way--my journal is not interesting so sorry for that. I will be commenting on yours, though, as the posts I've seen are super interesting :)

From: [identity profile] lookingland.livejournal.com

yes, it can be rather irksome when you have to have school stuff intruding all over what's important!

i'm sometimes not too great about commenting on my flist, but i do enjoy reading and seeing what other people are doing/seeing/enjoying in the world!

i'm not sure cool is the word for it ~ though i have heard that the dream ballet in act seventeen is somewhat rather smashing.

~ a greater cast of people i would rather not see in tutus, i cannot imagine.

hahahahahaha ~
