i laughed at this horsey when i drew it (it was supposed to be a more serious attempt at a realistic-looking horse).

ah well. this is going to be a project full of smiling ponies. i can already tell.

i know what you mean ~ i hate when animals die in movies. especially when they are caught in some horrible helpless human stupidity. it's always gutwrenching.

i was actually thinking of like a panama hat, but an easter bonnet is pretty funny too. or maybe a top hat. i'll have to give it some thought.
