i was safely tucked into the basement of the library on the u, which is not far from the collapse. when i came out i could smell the drift of smoke and riverside drive was pretty clogged with traffic and police cars, but i made it home without too much trouble. i have only ever driven on the 35 there once ~ it's not my route home.

please keep the twins in your prayers ~

Glad to hear you're okay! That has got to be my worst nightmare. Down here in Florida there are so many bridges that I've kinda gotten used to it, but that just brings all those fears back again LOL!
