i have a chicken, i have a watermelon. i have no intention of leaving the house today. i have already written 2,000 words this morning. that should set the pace at at least a potential of 15,000 words today. at the very least.

i will either be updating every hour as a break between bouts of mania, or you won't hear from me again until maybe a bedtime final tally.

meanwhile, i hope my american f-listers are celebrating the day. be patriots, america, and honor the good this country was founded on.

and remember that patriotism is not synonymous nationalism.

i am checking in with a measely 5k at the moment, but i had a nap attack around 1 o'clock and lost a lot of time on that. and i read about 40 pages of some fiction i have by my bed, just to clear the head a little. so i've been kinda cheating.

gonna sit back down and get back to work now.
