This was created in Painter 8 at 500 x 292 pixels and reduced to 300 x 175 pixels (approximately the size of a business card. There's a lot of degredation in the image because of the resizing, which isn't encouraging ~ though the original size is kinda nice.

Not sure what I think of the digital aspect of drawing. The whole picture, start to finish took me about an hour. I think I can work faster with ink and paint, but I like the smoothness of it. Both ways have their plusses. Certainly working in layers means I can recycle backgrounds (which is a big plus!). And though this was a quick sketch, I can always go back and make adjustments to their faces, etc., if I'm not happy with things.

I'm still trying to figure out the best way to marry the two techniques in a way that makes the most sense, is most effective, and least time-consuming.
