you once asked me why a character in one of my stories was riding a "pony" and i thought: oh yeah, i guess that's a very western thing to say (calling all horses ponies, i mean).

now you're doing it too ~ hahahahaha

Heee! Sorry about that....but, there's something really funny about calling a great big horse a pony, isn't there? And, this time of the year, they're all hairy like ponies! Will is the scruffiest beast right now...:)

i've always wanted either a dappled one like that or a piebald. or a dunn with black points or or or or...

too ridiculous.

Oh, that's a lovely big boy! I'd love to have a team of draft horses some day, and I'm sucked for grays too....

Or, anything vaguely horse like, but grays in particular....

It's nice to have friends that appreciate the beauties of a shaggy pony :)

awwwww.

i'm going to think of that instead of how sad they might be, toasting their schnapps and looking at the mess of this country and its international relations since their time.

I suspect Washington's take on our international relations might be something like, "What do you mean you're allied with the British?! Stop yelling at the French -- oh, my god, what's happened to their poor army, I feel faint." Then someone would show him an M-16 and a tank and he would die of happiness again.

Hamilton would probably also be happy, if annoyed at the weakness of trade relations. I mean, the Bill of Rights pretty much doesn't exist anymore...
