the trouble with birds ~

today is morse's birthday (how geeky is that, i actually am cognizant of my character's birthdays ~ oy) ~

at any rate, i thought it only fair that i should make a paper doll of him too. it came out okay ~ not sure yet if i'm happy with the face, but meanwhile i am having a hard time picking which bird to put in his hand. the base doll needs a bird and then the cassock needs a bird. i was going to draw a cardinal instead of a dove, but got supremely lazy.

at any rate, i mocked up the variations to see which oughta go where and i still can't decide. and yes, i know he's got no shoes on ~ i'll deal with that later ~ ha!

A red cardinal would look great! The red could be a great indicator of several theological meanings.

precisely ~ ! i may go back and change the dove to a cardinal ~ or perhaps i'll make a different vestment with the cardinal on it ~
