the trouble with birds ~

today is morse's birthday (how geeky is that, i actually am cognizant of my character's birthdays ~ oy) ~

at any rate, i thought it only fair that i should make a paper doll of him too. it came out okay ~ not sure yet if i'm happy with the face, but meanwhile i am having a hard time picking which bird to put in his hand. the base doll needs a bird and then the cassock needs a bird. i was going to draw a cardinal instead of a dove, but got supremely lazy.

at any rate, i mocked up the variations to see which oughta go where and i still can't decide. and yes, i know he's got no shoes on ~ i'll deal with that later ~ ha!

niccolo is too much of a runt to draw ~ hahahahaha ~ kidding. i may try to make a niccolo and sebastian if i have a chance. and maybe a bogpeep ~ eeeeeee!

the owl is a mainstay (he's a character in the story) ~ i don't think i worded my dilemma properly ~ it's not whether to keep the owl, it's where to put him! hahahaha ~
