look ~ i'm blogging ~ !

i am about to make the 700 mile drive home for Christmas, dogs in tow ~ it shall be an adventure i'm sure ~ just have to close out the semester, turn in my grades, get my car checked out, and close out some other things. i'm hoping to leave on the 10th and don't plan on coming back until the 3rd of january ~ so posting, if any, will be sporadic ~ but i will try to chat it up a lot before i leave ~ ha.

2005 will be a very new year. i am looking forward to the down time ~ it will make the transition easier, i think. then, when i come back, i can start looking for work. i'm really tired of being laid off, but when you don't have a choice, you don't have a choice, i guess. gives me a chance to reprioritize at least ~ i'd like to get a lot of writing done in the next couple of months. serious writing. the kind of writing that would grow hair on a prune.
