please, everyone who reads this, ask me three questions, no more no less. Ask me anything you want. then go to your journal, copy and paste this request, allowing your friends (including myself) to ask you anything as well.

1. Do you take walks?

i sometimes take my dogs for walks and i very much enjoy walking, but i should do it more ~

2. What's your family like?

i have two brothers and three sisters. my parents have been married for 45 years. i am looking forward to visiting the family at Christmas since i no longer live nearby. i am closest to my youngest brother who is one year older than me, and i am the "baby" of the family.

3. Care to share how you came to take your faith more seriously (pivotal occurances, etc)?

i am a writer. i wrote a character whom i discovered had a vocation to the priesthood (this was not my doing ~ the Holy Spirit said so and i followed). i had fallen away from the Church many many years ago and found that i had to do some research for the story since i understood very little about the faith, even having been confirmed in the Church. the character was a jesuit priest. i started by reading saint ignatius of loyola's spiritual exercises. life has not been the same since. in the best way imaginable.

about that time, the boston scandal broke. i found myself in the position of defending the Church and defending the celibate priesthood to friends, family, anyone who would listen. i knew then that God was calling me.

i reconciled with the Church one year ago december 3rd. i continue to struggle to do God's will, but i am ever so happy to be home.

Wow. Now THAT is an amazing testimony. I love how God brings us to Him through the most remote ways, and most intimate/individual :D

Keep going :D
