i'm back home (yay!). thank you all for your well-wishes and whatnot.

i had a nice relaxing time, but nothing too exciting to report. later i'll share with you some thoughts on my to-date worst mass experience (steel yourself for the horrors). i also got to see V for Vendetta and will be sharing my thoughts on it (the short assessment: if you ain't seen it yet, go go go!).

it's midday, but i'm fragged from the drive. it's beautiful and slightly raining and i think i'll crash out for a while.

hope everyone is well!

Looking forward to your movie review. Just remember to chip in a bit about why it's got the "R" rating, and how gory/graphic it is? Please. So far, I've had some people tell me to go, and others tell me that I'd never get through it. This is not helpful.

i think it's rated "R" for mature themes and suggested violence and torture more than anything else. there is a scene toward the end that is violent and mildly gory (inoffensive by my own standards, but i'm pretty immune to this sort of thing). people get beat up, there is some blood. on a scale of 1 to 10 with The Passion being a 10 and Babe (the pig movie) being a 1, i would rate this as violence and general squirminess (upsetting imagery): 7; gore: 5.5.

hope that's sorta somewhat helpful. if you see it and think i was off, please let me know so i can adjust my standards accordingly.

So glad you're back and rested!

And, I'm interested in your thoughts about the mass horror (I was a church musician for a while, so, I've seen my fair share;) )
