it gets to a point in homework evasion that the diversions you take on to avoid the homework start to lose all their zing ~ because you know the clock is ticking and eventually you're going to have to do your dad-gum homework. so as much as i am wasting the day, i'm not having as much fun doing so as i'd like.

and if i see one more tv show or read one more story about the evil priest who turns out to be a man who murdered the real priest and is impersonating him, i'm going to scream. it's become a way to make a priest evil and spout a lot of hysterical religious falderol and then you tidily back out of it and say "just kidding" and that somehow makes it all good. i ain't buying it. stop selling.* i suppose, though, i guess it's better than having just a wacked out insane priest who really is a priest. feh.

* aforementioned Ghost Rider issue (many posts back) is excused from this mini-rant on account of the murderer-pretending-to-be-a-priest wasn't being evil, he was just hearing Johnny Blaze's confession and actually trying to pretend to be a priest (that was a cool plot twist).

okay, that was totally random ~

in painting news, i finished a partner for the doll i posted yesterday and painted a third (who now also needs a partner). i'm more than ready to leap to the next phase, but am hesitant. it also looks as if i will run out of diet Coke shortly and so i am wondering about whether i should go to the grocery (and maybe use one of those free rental coupons i still have). if i just weren't so dern lazy. these things are all related of course because i can't possibly be expected to function without diet Coke.

you ever just write entries and don't really know why?

Oh yes, I write lots of entries and have no idea why I wrote them. It's kinda become a random hobby. :P

You know... I so agree with you on the homework evasion. I do that too.. I evaded homework by drawing a map for my Cantori and Avari world... though I need to add the color symbols now to finish it. Yes, evading homework is fun until you reach the point where you have to do it... :P

The only book where I really enjoyed the plot line of a bad guy posing as a priest was the Young Unicorns by Madeliene L'Engle... but that wasn't really a murderer - just an insane actor who impersonates a bishop. but yeah, those plot lines are getting old. you know what? People always look at me weird when I say this, but I can't drink pop for it makes me sick. And that was really random, but reading about your diet coke made me think of that. It's weird I know.

Okay, I've rambling long enough in this comment. :D

hahahahah ~ your comment is almost as long as my post ~ wanna write some journal entries for me?

hey, you need a scanner so you can share your maps n' things.

and why aren't we collaborating on something fun together?

i mean, honestly!

*Laughs* i could! XD!
I do! I do need a scanner! It would be way fun to share these maps! I've started concentrating more on topography maps of my worlds - thanks to what i learned in my geography class concerning mapmaking and the nifty graph paper a friend gave me. ^_^ Maybe I can convince my brother to let me have his. Hmm... I feel like I'm plotting against him or something. *giggles*

Oh, collaborating! that would be way fun! Haha, we already talk a bunch on LJ about random things. I wonder what we could collaborate about. :D
