that was quick.

i always forget: it's the drawing that takes forever. the coloring is the easy part.

i was dumb and colored the reduced image instead of the large one. ah well. recoloring it is no big deal if and when i need it.

You grumbled earlier about not being able to draw a straight line. Well I can, and the best I can do are stick figures...

This is cool what you've done. The colors, especially, appeal to my inner autumn geek.

KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK,

"Yoo hoo, Colonel Hunter, it's me, Lillie. There's a party here tonight, isn't there?"

It's wonderful Bootsie! I like your version better than the other artist's rendering it seems a bit more like something James would order up (less geegaws ;-) ) Ilove your autumn leaves and look forward to the snow version.

Re: KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK,

why miss lillie ~ ! there's always a party!

ha!

i think you're right about the geegaws. james would do something whimsical, but i have a feeling he's not terribly "victorian" in his design sensibilities. if he'd lived to see the 20s and 30s, i think that would have been his proper era. he'd have loved mucha and the like. if i were really bold, i would have designed the house more in the style of gaudi, but i think that's pushing it. i've decided in this world that heaven (the physical representation of it anyway) looks like gaudi. that's more fun.
