i agree maybe full color covers might be a fun way to go ~ the tone of t he story ought to definitely be more serious and less "toony". this picture was for a wee little Christmas sketch i did just for the fun of it, nothing major.
but i do think it comes down to tone and the tone in the middle "feels" more right.
