Currently the Chapel is about 5 miles or so. That is no big deal. The new site will be about 25 to 30 miles from our current house. Tom doesn't think we should travel that far to get to Church when there is one right down the street. I think we will be better off living closer to the Church myself. If it were up to us that wouldn't be a problem. We are in the middle of looking at the feasability of having a family "compound" where Tom, me, and Tom's sister Cathie would all be living in the same place. This is a looong story. We all need to agree where we want to build a house at. Ave Maria is one of the places we are looking into. However, we may not even stay in Florida so I guess we are playing it by ear anyway.
The new Church probably won't be ready until mid-2007 at the soonest anyway, so I have lots of time to get Tom used to the idea of going there instead of down the street. And depending on where we move, Ave Maria may be the closest thing around anyway!
