The whole "black and white may equal colour" business makes it very tricky.
I'm guessing of course - what have I done with my brain since google?
1. The Bicycle Thieves - purely because there's a guy on a bicycle, although he looks like a priest, so it's almost certainly wrong. 2. No idea. He's wearing tartan, but it's not Braveheart! 3. Looks dickensian, maybe Great Expectations. 4. lastremnant got that one. 5. Hmmm. Jeremy Irons dressed as a Jesuit maybe. I know this. Grrrr. 1492? 6. Not familiar. 7. I'll make a guess at The Searchers. 8. Looks like a napoleonic era deck battle. Master and Commander? 9. Is it Amistad? 10. Black and white, they look russian. Alexander Nevsky? 11. Clearly a religious movie, but which one? John the Baptist? 12. This looks really interesting! I've no idea what it is though.
