okay ~ i've been trying to write a blurb for my NaNo project for a while, and this is what i've come up with as far as encapsulating the story.

The Kidnapped Christ

A murderous alcoholic sociopath turned mild-mannered dentist is confronted by his spiritually abusive past when on the cusp of the birth of his first child, his best friend, a mystic, nearly meets his martyrdom at the hands of renegades over what he perceives as a shiny gold box full of crackers.

okay bad grammar, but that's the best i could do at the moment. i wrote most of the outline last night and i think i'm pretty well set. the ending is a wee bit mushy, but i have a few weeks to poke it into shape before the madness begins.

i hadn't really planned on writing something with such overt spiritual themes, but this was what suggested itself to me, so i guess this is where i am going.
