as for the books, i buy books like nobody's business. i would rather spend money on books than food, clothes, pretty much anything. fortunately, something like this was very cheap. other purchases of mine, not so much ~ hahahahahaha!
i mostly shop old bookstores, eBay, amazon, and alibris. i am a book fiend.
i also work at a university library with an extensive 19th century collection, which helps feed my addiction. a lot.
