i had the most amazing orange ginger pork chop for dinner. it was sooooo good. i'm not kidding. this was a pork chop broiled in the ovens of nirvana by the hands of seraphim. pigs are lining up to martyr themselves just to make this pork chop, it's so good. i feel like making a "pork chop" tag just to commemorate this day and for all time.

i've always loved pork chops. but i never knew it could be this good.

anyone on my flist who has a Lunds in their neighborhood should go immediately and get a pork chop of their very own. and if you don't live near Lunds, you should get in your car and begin a pilgrimmage now. they won't last!!!

no seriously, it was a really good pork chop. like, it never made it home. i ate it in the car before i'd driven five blocks from the store. it was scandalously good. i almost ate the bones.

that's the commandant's house, actually. the front of the fort actually looks more fort-like.

Ohhhh, now I want a pork chop! But i'm in Peru for the next few months. I don't think they have Lunds here. Or orange ginger pork chops. :is now craving pork chops:

ginger is like catnip to me, so it can never be too strong, but i would say this was pretty mild. i'm guessing you can put as little or as much as you like.

i recommend you give it a whirl!

boots would be spandy, but alas, not the style for dress infantry in 1830. not crazy about the white pantaloons either, but i'll give them credit: linen and cotton frontier uniforms were so much more practical than all that woolen nonsense they were wearing 30 years later to kill each other in.

i feel sorry for your pork chops, but even a pale pork chop is a life-improvement over no pork chop at all!
