pursuing your fine quote through google I find it is "spirits of the dead" and surmise this the source of the anthology film (vadim/fellini/ and I forget) which played a lot in japan when I was there maybe because of the jane fonda in various kinky outfits and brigitte bardot...but which was a pretty good movie.
