Indeed they are! Dad has some really spooky ones, and because of them, he prays for protection on our house and often goes around the property with Holy Water as he prays. He also has a lot of nice "ghost" stories too - so not all of them are terrifying. xD
Though the dark tales, scared the bejabbers out of me as a child. Still do. Maybe I should share them sometime? Swap ghost stories, especially since Halloween and All Souls Day/All Saints Day is around the corner?
