yesterday i found a hardback copy of j.f. powers's Wheat that Springeth Green at the bookstore for a buck and so would like to give my crisp never-been-read paperback version away to a good Catholic home. i love this book dearly and would love even more to share it with someone who will likewise appreciate it.
i orginally read a library copy of this book and loved it so much i had to get a copy of my own (which is why it's never been read). the version is exactly the one in the amazon link above.
i specify that i want this to go to a Catholic home because it is a very Catholic book, but it's also a very brilliant, subtle, and funny book, so read the reviews at amazon (but ignore the comparison to Ford ~ yuck) and if you think you are interested (religious or no), post a reply with your mailing address. comments are screened, so it will be protected.
first come, first served.
updated: thank you to everyone who posted! the book has found a new home in sunny florida and will ship monday afternoon.
