where were these when i was tallying my thus-far 50bookchallenge list?

anyway, this is what i am currently reading, though i dunno if i will finish it. it's not like his other work that i loved so much {Silk) and it's a little jarring for my needs at the moment because it's wacky and contemporary. i'm just not in that frame of mind at the moment. on the other hand maybe it's a good counterpoint to the frame of mine i am in ~ ha!
