a romance writer, i am not ~

i was recently trying to write a romance ~ something light and fun and all goo-goo eyed ~ well that's not going so well. maybe it's just my frame of mind ~ ha!

at any rate, i decided i wanted to develop the tv show (i'll try to avoid calling it a soap opera even if that's what it is) that i mentioned some time back in a comment to one of greg's posts ~

tonight i was noodling around trying to come up with a picture for the "placard" of said show and i doodled this charming couple.

interestingly enough, they are the couple in my failed romance, nearly 30 years later ~ guess it all worked out for them ~ ha!

having a goofy life ~ don't mind me.

edit: i added the finished placard ~ not sure how i feel about it ~ it screams "soap opera" to me, but then, if the shoe fits ~

wow, those placards are awesome - the colors are gorgeous, and the characters are so expressive!

I wouldn't classify it as soap-oprahish tho... not sure what, but it seems more like a drama maybe? ~ha this is coming from someone who barely watches TV!
