the picts are a little modern, but i doubt the basic structure changed much in 30 years.

the Darkesville Independents march through Frederick on their way to Antietam. this puts Morse within a stone's throw of the novitiate he left. they don't go down that particular street, but they will surely be able to see the tower as they march through.
