i had to move my coffee table because it sits where the sun hits in the morning and i looked up from my computer to see my sun-starved dog making himself comfortable on it (imagine a 65lb dalmatian on a small faux queen anne coffee table). i wish i had a camera. he's much happier on the carpet now.

i'm not too terribly behind on my schedule except with regard to the 5-page-a-day project for which i am now 15 pages in the hole (think i can catch up?) ha!

oh yeah, and i guess i still haven't written Eleison. my brother's going to kill me dead if i don't deliver very very soon.

that basically means i've accomplished exactly one thing this week, posting Reconstruction (or at least a haphazard semblance of it).

i'm not exactly having a "wish it into the cornfield" time of it as i was earlier in the week, but i don't precisely feel on top of things either (gee, prolly 'cause i'm not).

weekend plans:
1. write 20 pages of In Fidelity (thereby catching up on the 5-page-a-day project). this is due, complete, may 15th.

2. work on Mr. Morse's intro some more (take it to workshop on sunday).

3. print out Eleison and start red-lining it (c'mon now, i know i can do this!)

i think these are totally reasonable plans. and if i can also work on no. 28, that would be swell.

small steps.

I wish you'd had a camera, too! O_O

hahahaha ~ i've never seen a dog climb onto a table before. it was downright weird! especially for paxton, since he's normally so well-mannered.

I thought you had a camera...

By the by, could you recommend a digital camera that's either worked well in the past for you or someone you know. I think I'm finally going to splurge and get one this week. But I'm really ill-informed...

go with Canon, that's all i can say ~ all my cameras have been Canons and i've always been happy. as to which, i can't recommend because i don't kno what's out there. buy the best you can afford, but remember that the number of pixels is immaterial (get at least 3) anything more is overkill unless you intend to blow up your photos to poster size (so don't let that be a selling point).

what i meant when i said i didn't have a camera was that it wasn't anywhere near me.
