Stephane Heuet does Proust

All this thinking about comic books reminds me that I hadn't really jotted down my impressions about Stephane Heuet's adaptation of Marcel Proust's Remembrance of Things Past. I recently got volume I & II from Amazon (the hardcover versions, which are nice ~ and weren't obscenely expensive) and I read them at the leisurely pace I think one sort of has to read Proust, frame by frame taking long drinks of thought (and other beverages) between each one.

it is interesting how diffeent the graphics are
well I am not sure that Proust is ideal material
for a graphic novel to begin with but it is
interesting...I have seen these but never
examined them closely, feeling a little guilt
for never having quite finished the books
(bogged down I think in cities of the plain)
