Why I'm Not Getting any Work Done Today (Part I)
I have four scripts to write before Friday. I reviewed the tapes yesterday. I teach tomorrow and so lose the majority of the day there, and who can work on Fridays!?
So this is me, sitting at my desk, having already polished off a 20 oz. Diet Coke and trying to at least wait until noon before cracking another one. And so far I've been here two hours and I've only barely managed to put the tape in the VCR.
I don't know what it is about work lately. Do you guys ever just have days/weeks/months like this? For the record, I like my job! Yesterday we got new toys to play with and I basically watch cartoons for a living, so it's not like it's a difficult or grueling task!
