i've been thinking on his backstory a bit and have decided that he should be able to read (how else would he know about warrants, rewards, etc.), so i am making him slightly less uneducated, but no less ignorant on a lot of levels.

his favorite book? Moby Dick of course ~ it'll give him and James plenty to chaw about should the two cross paths (and i am pretty sure they will).
